Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd's success story began on the 1st June 1994 with 3 staff at Kompleks PKNS, Shah Alam, Selangor being the first office place. In 1999 Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd (CSSB) moved to its own building at Indah Point, Pulau Indah. The strategic shifting was in order to fulfill its commitment in developing its challenging project, Pulau Indah Industrial Park (PIIP).
PIIP covers an area of 5,324 acres (2,154 hectares) in Pulau Indah, Port Klang, Selangor. Based on its size, PIIP is the major land owner from the overall size of Pulau Indah of 14,000 acres. PIIP comprises of industrial, commercial and residential developments that are scheduled for completion by the year 2014. With its strategic location which is next to the prestigious port; West Port, CSSB¨s core business of industrial properties namely industrial land and factory buildings, will support significantly to the various port related businesses. CSSB¨s core business focuses on local and foreign investments for Selangor and Malaysia.
Today, approximately 3,000 acres have been developed. A wide range of properties such as industrial land and ready built factory buildings, commercial centers and residential areas are either completed or in various stages of planning and construction. 840 acres of industrial land in Phase 1 and 1,000 acres in Phase 2 have been handed over to investors on time. Currently, various factories and offices are in operation. A part of the industrial land area in Phase 2 and Phase 3 is zoned for a special project of the Selangor State Government named Selangor Halal Hub Pulau Indah (SHHPI). SHHPI of 1,000 acres has been certified with HALMAS status by Halal Industry Development Corporation under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), which qualifies all investors in SHHPI for special incentives and tax deductions. In order to meet the demand of employees within the industrial development, an attractive sea fronting residential area named Laguna Park has been developed. 300 units of 2 storey terrace houses have been sold and occupied. There are new houses and apartments including shop offices now open for registration and sale, respectively.
